South Early College High School

South Early College High School was designed under Houston ISD’s 2012 Bond Program as a LEED‑Certified early‑college campus where students can earn an associate degree while completing high school. The two‑story, 56,719‑square‑foot facility features flexible academic neighborhoods, joint‑use spaces shared with Houston City College, and specialized labs for science, art, and robotics, supported by extended learning commons and outdoor areas. CPTED principles guided the layout, with a secure entry vestibule ensuring controlled visitor access.
