School of Performing Arts Renovation Phase I & II

The historic 1925 School of Performing Arts received a comprehensive two‑phase renovation, transforming Port Arthur ISD’s 81,890‑square‑foot landmark. Exterior upgrades included a new roof and dome, refreshed brickwork, new windows and doors, enhanced landscaping and lighting, expanded parking, and modernized MEP systems. Inside, the lobby and corridors were restored with refined finishes and preserved architectural details, and the auditorium was renewed with upgraded seating, lighting, carpet, and improved sound and stage systems—honoring its Art Deco heritage while enhancing functionality.
