Smith & Company has recently been selected to be part of the Entech team for the METRO West Bellfort Park & Ride for the design of a 6 Level, 3,000 car garage complete with an eight-bus loading platform, driver / staff restrooms, a SC&C room, 4 elevators and storage space.

A garage designed as a canopy over a centrally located bus bay station or an adjacent bus loading platform will provide riders shade and protection from harsh climate conditions while they await the start of their commute. The proposed location of the garage will also contribute to shorter walking distances from parking spaces located in perimeter surface areas. Customers who park on garage levels will have direct access to bus bays with accessible vertical circulation. The goal is to increase the parking capacity at this Park & Ride to approximately 3000 parking spaces through a garage and surface parking.
