Homegrown Renovation

The Homegrown Building renovation at Sam Houston State University reconfigures the entire interior to meet evolving needs for the Food Pantry and Tripod’s, while maintaining the existing exterior structure. Schematic design addresses electrical upgrades for industrial refrigeration, new offices, student workstations, storage, and infrastructure for digital signage, security, and card‑swipe access. A proposed lounge and educational area adds flexibility, creating modern, service‑oriented spaces that enhance student support and engagement.
