Federal Inspections Services (FIS) Renovation & Expansion

Interior design documentation was developed for the renovation and expansion of Houston Airport System’s Federal Inspection Services facility, adding roughly 177,000 square feet within the International Terminal Complex. The project accommodated major operational transitions— including roadway realignments and the shift of MLIT functions into the new International Central Processor—to support the enlarged FIS area. These improvements reinforce long‑term terminal planning and improve the efficiency of international‑arrival processing.
