Deluxe Theater

The historic 1941 DeLuxe Theater was transformed into a modern teaching and performance venue for Texas Southern University’s Fine Arts Program. This adaptive‑reuse project converted the abandoned 8,000‑square‑foot theater into flexible instructional and performance space while fully restoring its original Art Deco façade, complete with a new marquee.

                                                                                                                                                     The project earned multiple preservation and design awards, including

recognition from NOMA, the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance, and the HBJ Landmark Awards.
