Cook Elementary School Open Concept Project

Cook Elementary was renovated under Austin ISD’s 2022 Bond Program, transforming the open‑concept layout into a safer, more functional learning environment with flexible instructional spaces, collaboration areas, modern furnishings, and enclosed classrooms. Upgrades included a secure entry vestibule, care center, major MEP improvements, enhanced outdoor learning areas, and new spaces for mental‑health services and a community pantry, supported by temporary portables and a swing campus that maintained uninterrupted operations.
