As part of Houston Community College’s Southwest College, this new facility provides the southwest Houston community with the opportunity to gain access to workforce programs and classes without the need to drive to HCC’s Central campus.
The new 17,000 S.F. single story Workforce building is located adjacent to HCC’s Alief Continuing Education Center. The new Workforce building includes shop rooms for training in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing trades along with traditional teaching classrooms, an industrial automation lab, and conference areas.
The building houses the latest in state-of-the-art teaching equipment for all trades.
