Smith & Company has recently been selected to be part of the ARUP team for the METRO Northline Transit Center.

The proposed Northline Transit Center will provide a true multi-modal transit facility at the northern terminus of the METRO’s Redline Light Rail System. This facility will be located near the Northline Commons Shopping Center (formerly Northline Mall) along Fulton Street, a designed transit corridor on the City’s Major Thoroughfare Plan. The proposed Northline Transit Center would replace the existing transit center, which accommodates transfers for local bus service. The facility adds to the current METRO offering by adding commuter vehicle and bicycle parking, to allow local and commuter customers seamless connections to other parts of METRO’s service area and beyond. The proposed Northline Transit Center is aimed to improve the customer experience of those who rely on public transit as their primary means of transportation and provide improved access to employment and educational facilities.
