Workforce Training Facilities Additions & Renovations

A preliminary program study evaluated a 15,000‑SF expansion of Lone Star College’s Workforce Building at the Conroe Center, increasing capacity for welding, machining, and automotive programs. The welding expansion doubles student capacity with a new lab and additional booths, while the machining expansion adds a new lab supporting thirty students. The automotive study assessed enlarging existing labs and classrooms to accommodate thirty students and expanded equipment and service areas.
