MacArthur Elementary School Rebuild

MacArthur Elementary is being rebuilt for Galena Park ISD, replacing the oldest portions of the 1950 campus while renovating the 1996– 2004 additions. The new single‑story, 84,000‑square‑foot facility will provide flexible learning spaces, a new library, a performance‑equipped multipurpose room, and a modern cafeteria. Renovations include updated corridors, restrooms, and gym areas, along with new corridor connections, a secure entry vestibule, dedicated play areas, expanded parking and drives, and a detention pond.
